We moved to the Texas Hill Country in 2021 after retiring from law enforcement with over 45 years of experience between the two of us.
After settling in the beautiful town of Dripping Springs, friends and neighbors would occasionally ask if we wouldn’t mind watching their homes and/or family and/or pets while they vacationed. Within a short period of time we found ourselves pet sitting quite frequently and we loved it! We own two beautiful standard Schnauzers (Marlie and Jewels), so we know what it means to leave your family pet at home with someone you can trust.
With that said, we decided to open Tail Waggerzz to provide the high level of service, care, and reliability that we would expect for our own pups. We are very flexible and can tailor our services to fit your needs. We offer pet sitting and house sitting with highest levels of care for your pets and your home. Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to board but that may be in our future. If you’re ever in need of someone to watch your furry family while you’re away from home, feel free to contact us. Pet sitting is personalized care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Unlike boarding or daycare—where pets stay in a facility with other animals—pet sitting allows your pet to stay in their familiar surroundings, follow their usual routine, and receive one-on-one attention. This can help reduce stress and anxiety, especially for pets who aren’t used to being away from home.
We care for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and small mammals. If your pet has specific needs or is a bit unique, just let us know! We’re happy to discuss how we can make sure they’re well cared for.
Yes, we offer both!
In-home visits: We stop by once or multiple times a day to feed, walk, play, and check on your pet.
Overnight stays: We stay in your home overnight so your pet has companionship and care throughout the night and early morning.
We can customize visits to match your pet’s routine.
Pet sitting is a great option for pets who thrive in their own environment and may feel stressed around other animals or new places. It’s also ideal for pets who need a consistent routine, seniors, pets with special needs, or multi-pet households. If your pet is social and loves being around other dogs, boarding or daycare may be a better fit—but for most pets, staying home where they feel safe and secure is the most comfortable choice.

When I first met Greg and Karen Roberts, I was so glad they were my neighbors.
They were newlyweds and both retired from law enforcement. They are kind, involved in our community, and truly love animals.
They have always helped me with my 2 Brittany spaniels by letting them out for me for potty breaks or staying with them for me to travel!

We travel a lot, intended on bringing our 2 dogs with us but after a few trips found it to be stressful for them and us. We found a kennel we liked and used them several times.
From the start they were professional and we got comfortable with them. We used them for a short trip to see how they and the dogs would do. We were hooked. We received daily updates, pictures, and detailed information on their eating and playing activities.
Our dogs stay in crates when left alone as well as overnight. We needed frequent visits and Greg and Karen of Tailwaggerzz were happy to accommodate. They have learned how the dogs like to play and will s pend a generous amount of time making sure they get some great outside time. They walked them outside the home as well which was amazing.
We have since used them a dozen times and they never fail to impress us with the love and caring of our dogs. We highly recommend them to care for your pets…..
Greg and Karen Roberts have literally been the answer to my prayers.
When they or their assistant, Kevin, come stay in our home to take care of our dogs, we do not worry about a thing. They are professional, responsible, kind people. I liked them all from the first time I met them.
Now I see Greg, Karen, and Kevin out in the community several times a week and they always put a smile on my face. The world is a better place because of people like them.
My dogs and my home are well cared for when they are here.

They have taken out any stress of vacations or travel for our family. We know our two 12 year old dogs love it and are not sad to stay home. They get so much love and attention.
